The green, green SIgnal......

Chinese Satellite is a film born out of dislocation. I wrote it in the Midwest, thinking about what it means to be watched, interpreted, and sometimes misread. The landscape of cornfields and silence became a screen for projection — of desire, paranoia, nostalgia. I wanted to make something that moved quietly, like a signal across a great distance, and maybe, if lucky, someone might catch it on the other end.
